Yesterday, confirmed COVID-19 cases to date globally grew to 1,517,960 people, an increase of 87,041 persons — meaning that the total again grew 6% in just one day (albeit down from 8-9% per day just a few days ago). New York saw its highest number of daily deaths so far, although fortunately its rate of growth for cases is declining.
